The VP Finance role is integral to the Company’s operations and critical to its success – partnering with other functions through the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities and procedures relating to financial management, revenue tracking and recognition, budgets, accounting policies, tax compliance and payroll. The VP Finance is the lead finance role at the Company
- Building a finance and operational support staff
- Developing internal, external and board reporting materials
- Managing implementation of financial systems (G/L and stock-based comp)
- Managing the planning process
- Managing the Company’s cap table
- Leading/participating in all company fundraising and financing
- Establishing a highly data-driven platform for managing company growth and operations
- Managing external accounting, legal and tax providers
- Developing and contributing to company policy documents as needed

Education/Experience – Master's degree (M.B.A.) or equivalent; or eight to 15 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Big4 background and exposure to application of technical accounting preferred.
Computer Skills – Microsoft Excel (advanced) and other Office Suite products, working knowledge of G/L systems functions and capabilities and equity compensation software. The Company is currently using or planning on implementing Quickbooks, Expensify, Bill.com, Salesforce and eShares and familiarity with these platforms is a big plus.
Credentials - Certified Public Accountant or equivalent preferred.
